About The Provider

After finishing his medical schooling in India, Dr. Gohel completed his residency training from Fairview Hospital, Cleveland Clinic, Ohio. He then completed Clinical Nutrition Fellowship from Cleveland Clinic and Gastroenterology Fellowship from McMasters University. During his training at these prestigious institutions, he began several research projects which have been lauded at national scientific meetings and published in peer reviewed journals. Dr. Gohel is actively involved in the medical education of medical students, residents and fellows from Creighton University School of Medicine and Midwestern University and serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor in Gastroenterology. His areas of clinical interests include Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Nutrition, Colon Polyps, GERD and Biliary pancreatic disease. He has been the principal investigator in several innovative clinical trials across the years, which has led to FDA approval of several important therapies. His clinical research consists of co-authoring numerous peer reviewed articles.
