Ashley Burns

Ashley Burns is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner since 2022. A native-born Phoenician raised here in sunny Arizona, she graduated with a BSN and an MSN degree with honors from Grand Canyon University. Prior to becoming a GI nurse practitioner, she was an Endoscopy RN for 8 years. This has given her invaluable experiences being able to see and assist with advance endoscopic procedures.

She became a Gastroenterology NP to be an advocate for GI patients. She is inspired by all that can be accomplished with endoscopy and works to ease her patients’ fears regarding their procedures. She likes to empower her patients by teaching them about their upcoming procedure and helping them see the procedures as little less intimidating and scary.

She has a loving family with her wonderful husband and 3 of the best dog fur babies. She is a big animal lover and supporter. In her spare time she can be found on a beautiful beach, out on the river or lake kayaking, fishing, camping, or at a live concert. She also enjoys doing art projects such as drawing, diamond art, and painting.
